The Best of Both Worlds?

I spent some time reading the reviews on this chair before making the decision to purchase. I was struck that there were many exceptional reviews touting the chair build quality and comfort but would occasionally come across a review that said it was one of the least comfortable chairs they had ever used. I even got a kick out of the reviewer that couldn't fathom why someone would buy a chair without ever testing it out. For the record, you can't sit in every chair advertised in the world. Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith which is what I did. What I have found out in the last few weeks is that both kinds of reviews of this chair can be true at the same time. Is it the most comfortable chair I have used? Definitely not. Is it the worst chair? No. Being that ergonomics is what this chair is all about, I don’t think it’s designed for your comfort. It’s designed to get you sit correctly and avoid some of the pain associated with spending time in a seated position. Are there things I would change? Sure. I prefer a headrest that is more adjustable. This one is limited. I would prefer arm rests that could extend higher. I would prefer a chair seat that could adjust more so that you could more easily sit back in the chair. Do I dislike the chair? No Would I purchase it all over again had I known these issues ? No Some suggest just return it and get something else. The reality of the situation for me (and most) is that it’s probably too difficult to box it up and too expensive to ship back. I end by saying that this is a unique chair and well made. You just have to decide if it’s worth taking a chance.

Its hard and not very comfortable. Came with a dent in the middle of the backrest from the way they packaged it. They sent a new one that kind of had a similar dent. Would return if it wasn't so expensive to ship back. Wouldn't buy from them again

My chair came in damaged and they bent over backwards to take care of it. The chair is very comfortable and much easier to sit in for long periods of time.
