L-Shaped Standing Desk with Accessories Set (60"x23")
I purchased this chair just over a month ago. This is the best investment I've made in a while. It's very comfortable and keeps me in good posture while I sit. I would have given it five stars, but there are two things I don't like. One is the color of the back, it is a weird orange/pink color. I may remove them and paint them black in the spring. This is not a big deal, especially since I got this chain on Amazon for $149. The one functional piece I don't like, and this may be user error, is with the back. It slides up and down, making it easy to adjust. BUT so far, I can't find a way to lock it in place, so when I get up or adjust with my back against the lumbar/lower support, a lot of times my clothing will pull the back up as I get up (or even changing positions) and reset the back to the bottom again.
The chair is very stiff, only rocks a few inches back/forth so forget about leaning back. Small; looked like a miniature chair compared to the one I was replacing. Bottom line, I gave it to another office associate and stayed in my old chair. VERY dissappointed.
It's always risky to order long-term purchases online without trying them in-person first, but this chair has been worth it. It was easy to assemble and it's a great sit
Researched for a year for a chair that I could get comfy cross legged and have a high back that I could lean back when taking a break from my computer screen. It also had to meet the look that I wanted for my office. This was the chair!
I've had this chair for a week now and do spend a lot of time in it while working at my living room desk and watching TV.
The single, large, heavy shipping box arrived undamaged. Chair was easy to assemble. It's VERY elegant in both look and comfort. My farm tomcat immediately noticed the comfort as well. By Day 2, he began to occupy this chair whenever my back pockets are not. (I put a blanket on the seat and have a heavy shirt draped rearward across the backrest to protect the beautiful, soft leather from his accidental claws.)
At 5'11" tall, I will be making new wooden or metal headrest bars in my workshop so that the headrest can be permanently re-mounted at least 4" higher. As it came from the factory, my upper back is firmly against the bottom of the headrest pad when I sit upright against the backrest. While that's not deal-breaker uncomfortable, it's very noticeable. In using and thinking about it this week, I believe that the chair should come equipped with telescoping headrest bars from the factory to make the headrest/backrest gap adjustable for everyone's individual size. They could be locked in place with a setscrew once fit is achieved.
The (black) leather parts of the chair are soft and thickly padded everywhere. The seat cushion is long enough from front to rear that my lower back reaches the base of the backrest when the rear of my knees touch the front of the seat cushion as I sit down.
At 185 lbs, the inner armrest cushions fall just outside of my hips on each side. There is not room to slide extended fingers between the armrest waterfall pads and my hips without each being contacted. This is definitely NOT a "Big and Tall" chair. A larger person's thighs would rest or press against the inner armrest pads.
The width and length of the upper part of the armrest pads is just right for me. The armrests do not contact the front edge of my desk while I'm positioned to write with a pen or use the keyboard.
The stock casters on the Mathias chair are the hard plastic type. It's surprising that they skimped with those on this level of a chair. I had a set of gummy-tired, double rollerblade-style wheels on another chair which I swapped onto this Mathias so it now rolls easily and quietly across my rustic wooden floor.
Another suggestion to the factory: The separated back and seat design of this chair are perfect for allowing the backrest to recline independent of the seat angle - as is the norm in modern cars. The back is bolted to the seat body through two substantial L-shaped flat bars. Wouldn't take too much engineering to allow the backrest angle to be adjustable independent from the seat cushion angle by lifting a lever along the side of the seat cushion as we do while driving.
The 19.5" - 21" seat height adjustment range of my Mathias chair is laughable. At the highest setting (21" tape-measured from the wooden floor to a ruler laid flat on the front center of the top of unladen seat cushion), my heels rest flat on the floor while wearing socks. Remember, I'm well under six feet tall. My forearms are at a slightly declining angle from the top of my desk, but that does allow my wrists to rest on the desktop as I type. Desk height is not quite 30-3/4" measured from the wooden floor. I believe the factory could source a height adjustment piston supplier with more than an inch and a half of vertical movement.
Thus, I'm giving a three star rating for what could be a five-star chair if it had adjustable-height headrest bars, higher quality casters, more seat elevation range and separate seat/backrest angle from the factory. I don't regret buying the Mathias desk chair, but have already made and will be making additional modifications so it fits me better.
It's still the best desk chair I've ever used. Because of their beautiful look, fine leather upholstery and easy mobility, I could see a non-conventional person having several of these as their primary living room furniture.
When shopping for a new desk chair, I did not want one that looked like an articulated insect or had a mesh back. Thus, I got the "desk variant" of a mid-century modern or euro living room designer chair.
The factory could continue to produce this Mathias model while also introducing the upgrades mentioned above in an "ultra" version.
Side note: When shopping on the seller's website, click the YES button when first asked about being included on the company email list. They'll email a 5% discount off the chair price when you place an order.
The chair is well built and easy to assesmble. The lumbar support is adjustable and that is a nice feature. The arm rests, however, for me are simply wrong. I tried them in every position and just could not find a truly comfortable position. I felt lik my wrists were sort of just dangling too high for my keyboard and mouse. As a caveat however, I use an under desk style tray for typing so it is lower than most people might use. That can put arms to height ratio off. I think the chair is a remarkably good chair. I'm just a lot picky since I literally sit at my desk 8 or more hours every single day, including weekends.
I am disappointed in the product and have shared my issues with your customer support staff.
Therefore, I'm very paranoid & cautious about the keyboard tray, since I couldn't use 2 of the screws due to the misalignment on part 12. I followed the steps & didn't tighten any of the screws until all of them were in, but since it has a production, error, I was not able to get all of them in.
I have yet to put the shelves, but I hope I don't run into the same problem when I do

It looks just like the pic, the tennis are cute , easy set- up , adjustable and the light is bright and was so worth the wait so cute!!!!
I moved my old desk out and put this one in. Took maybe an hour. That night I was still sitting there answering emails for no reason. It’s just comfortable to use.
As expected. Shipping was fast and quality is good. Will buy again from Eureka
Its a gorgeous table and my son was mind blown.
Very sturdy! Love the height adjustment on it.
Very comfy but color is not white or off white, it’s beige!
Excellent quality and well built. The desk did arrive in two seperate boxes. The boxes should have been clearly labeled BOX 1 of TWO. If that were the case then I wouldnt have hired someone to put it together untilI knew both boxes had arrived. The videos maje it look much simpler to assemble then it actually was. But, the results are outstanding. My review is nit meant to discourage buyers. Quite the contrary. But, as a heads up and feedback for the company. Also, I installed the speaker stands upside down to place hard drives and such.
Dear Antonio,
Thank you so much for your review and for sharing your experience.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion regarding the delivery. Your suggestion to clearly label the boxes as 'Box 1 of 2' is excellent and incredibly helpful. We have shared this feedback with our team to update the labeling,
Furthermore, we appreciate your feedback regarding the assembly. While we strive to make our videos as clear as possible, your feedback helps us realize where we can improve the instructions. Also, we absolutely love your creative hack of installing the speaker stands upside down for hard drive storage—that is a brilliant use of space!
Thank you again for choosing our products. If you need anything else, please feel free to reach out to us at 1-844-416-2060 or customerservice@eurekaergonomic.com. We’re always here to help!

I got up at 4am to assemble this chair on Christmas morning so a “box” wasn’t just being opened… I rolled this BEAUTIFUL chair into the room and the compliments and thank you didn’t stop all day. This chair is well build, comfortable, and worth every penny. Everyone talked about the design… we have an old Maine summer cottage built in 1905 and this chair adds a pop of mid-century, but works with the rest of our traditional wooden office furniture.
Relatively easy to assemble …and worth it. You can feel the quality the minute you sit in it. Thank you!
I sit at my desk for long hours, and this chair has been comfortable so far. The adjustable lumbar support lines up well with my lower back and provides decent support. My old chair usually left my back sore by the end of the day, and this one has helped with that. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and wish I had tried it earlier.
I set it up over the weekend. Been using it every day since. Coffee, laptop, random stuff. It just feels right. Looks good, feels solid. No regrets honestly.
Very comfortable chair which was reasonably priced and easy to put together!
