Very sturdy with a metal base. Not plastic like some of the other ones you get from Staples. Easy to assemble. Only took me 35 minutes. I Love the fact that the adjustable seat depth. Its a very comfortable chair.

This Is the best office chair I've ever placed my butt in. Noproblems from me even after almost 1 months of use. It's aalso sturdy and survived a move in a moving truck.

The Ella is truly serene, it's firm but comfortable, buttery soft leather and roomy without engulfing me, and I'm petite. I was concerned my knees wouldn't fit right (seat too deep) or that low back support would be either not quite enough or too much. It's all just perfect, a perfectly engineered masterpiece. I see myself on work video calls and I look more confident and professional. You won't regret purchasing this one, I'll have it the rest of my life.
