Very sturdy and beautiful. Seems to be well made. I very highly recommend!! And I bought the matching dining chairs at Eureka too.
Eureka economics review
⭐☆☆☆☆
Avoid this company at all costs.
I ordered a stone dining table from Eureka at the end of April. The table arrived with a broken stone top. While disappointing, I understood that damage can happen during shipping, especially with heavy stone furniture. I contacted customer support, and they assured me they would send a replacement table and arrange for the damaged top to be removed.
A week later, a delivery crew showed up with another 400-pound stone tabletop—but informed me they had no instructions to remove the original broken one. As a result, I was left with TWO massive 8-foot, 400-pound stone tabletops sitting in my downstairs living area, taking up nearly my entire first floor. Neither table could be assembled, and nobody seemed to know who was responsible for removing the damaged one.
After spending days trying to reach someone, I finally got through to customer service. I was told they were "working on it." Then I heard absolutely nothing for another week.
With guests coming over and no resolution in sight, I hired a team of movers at my own expense to assemble the replacement table. It was only then that I discovered Eureka had sent only ONE table leg. The second leg was missing entirely, making assembly impossible. The movers still charged me for their travel and labor, then had to leave without being able to complete the job.
At this point, I had thousands of pounds of stone sitting in my home, piles of cardboard, Styrofoam, and packaging material everywhere, a broken table nobody would remove, and a replacement table that couldn't even be assembled because the company failed to send all the parts.
When I requested a refund, I was told they would send another team to assemble the table once the missing leg arrived—in about 10 days—and that the broken tabletop would supposedly be removed at the same time. By then, I had completely lost confidence in anything they promised. After weeks of mistakes, delays, broken communication, and additional costs that I incurred because of their incompetence, there was zero chance that response would satisfy me.
The furniture looks beautiful online. Unfortunately, the people and processes behind the furniture are some of the worst I have ever experienced. What should have been a straightforward furniture purchase turned into weeks of frustration, wasted time, unnecessary expenses, and a house full of unusable stone slabs.
I don't particularly care how Eureka chooses to handle my case at this point. I simply want other buyers to know what they're getting into before spending their money. The product photos may look great, but the customer service, logistics, communication, and overall customer experience have been absolutely horrendous.
One of the worst purchasing experiences I've ever had.
Update I eventually decided to take the free install because I had zero choice and the company would not refund me any of my money for the abysmal customer service. I was told that the new table was gonna be built on a Wednesday the company that Eureka economics subcontracted to have the table built agreed to come on a Wednesday morning. They texted me all night Tuesday called me about 12 times trying to get me to reschedule. I am very busy so I was unable to and they said they would accommodate the original time they agreed upon. Of course they did not show up as promised proceeded to text me and tell me that it would be Tuesday at the soonest.
Buying and putting together a table has now become a month-long ordeal. There are lots of similar tables out there don’t make the mistake I did and buy from this company. You will absolutely regret every second of it.
Update I wrote the body of this review everything prior to this paragraph right here at the very beginning of June they have attempted to send out three crews to build my table and they say today it’ll work it’s July 17
BUYER BEWARE IF YOU VALUE YOUR PIECE AND YOU DON’T WANNA HAVE TO TAKE ON A SECOND JOB IN ORDER TO GET YOUR TABLE BUILT YOUR BETTER OFF EATING ON A CARDBOARD BOX.
Super solid build, no wobble at all. The finish is nice and easy to wipe down. Exactly what I needed for my dining area.
Bought the table through Costco Next, which I was hesitant. Received the table shattered, not Eureka's fault, but the shipper's. Received the second table, which was in excellent condition. During my back-and-forth with Eureka, their customer service (Emil) took care of me and couldn't give me a reason to get upset.
That said, I bought the 10 matching chairs pictured, which complement the table very nicely. You can go with 12, but 10 is perfect when the table is fully extended. Overall, the table and chairs are of very high quality and look great! No regrets and highly recommend!
Gorgeous in its simplicity and durability.
