A Little Upgrade to My Daily Routine


My old desk was fine, but after a while I got tired of being stuck in the same position all day. I wanted something I could use sitting down in the morning and raise when I needed a break. That's probably what I appreciate most about this desk — it's easy to adjust without having to stop what I'm doing.

I keep my laptop, monitor, coffee, and a bunch of random things on the desktop, and there's still enough room to work comfortably. I was also pleasantly surprised by how nice it looks once it was in the room. The oak color feels right with my other furniture, so I didn't have to rearrange everything around it. I've added a walking pad underneath as well, and now I can take a slow walk during less busy parts of the day. It's become a pretty natural part of my routine.

My Back Needed This

Since I started working from home full-time, I realized just how much of the day I spend sitting. I finally decided to try a standing desk, and so far, I'm really enjoying it. I don't stand all day or anything, but it's nice to change positions when I start feeling stiff. I can switch to a different height with a button, which is super convenient when I'm in the middle of work. 

One thing I really like is how steady it feels when going up and down. There's barely any wobble, and it's really quiet, too. I'd read reviews of other standing desks where people said their desks would shake as they went up or make all these clunking noises. I was worried it would wobble all over the place or make a bunch of noise when going up and down, but thankfully, it doesn't.

It Looks Right at Home


We recently redid our living room, and this desk ended up being one of my favorite additions. I was worried a work desk would look out of place, but it actually goes really well with everything. I love how the oak looks in the afternoon light, too. My work setup is finally in one spot instead of being spread across the dining table.

Finally Found One I Really Like

Solid build, great support, and it looks incredible in my office. Best chair I’ve owned.
I spent way too much time looking at desks before settling on this one, but I'm glad I did! The color is beautiful in person, and the surface feels really nice. Putting it together wasn't nearly as bad as I expected since I could follow the video. It also goes up and down quietly. My cat sleeps next to my desk all the time and barely even reacts when I adjust the height. Little things like that make me appreciate it even more.

I Keep Admiring My New Desk

I can't stop admiring my new desk! The oak color has a really warm, natural look, and it goes so well with the white bookshelf in my home. They almost look like they came as a set. The entire desktop has this really fine wood grain, and the craftsmanship is excellent. It just looks and feels really nice.

Since getting this desk, I've been getting up to stand and move around more during my afternoon work sessions. I'm also thinking about getting an under-desk walking pad to use with it, after seeing some recommendations on YouTube.

I'm not very handy, so putting the desk together after receiving three big boxes took me quite a while. But once I got past the assembly, everything has been really easy to use. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Aurelia Fluted Standing Desk FAQs

Can I save my preferred sitting and standing heights?

Yes. The Aurelia adjusts from 29 7/16 to 47 15/16 inches and stores three preferred heights. You can save your usual sitting and standing positions, then recall them without adjusting the desk manually each time. Use the third preset for another preferred working height or someone who shares your workspace.

What’s the difference between Standard and Pro with Storage?

Pro with Storage adds storage and has a wider base, while both configurations share the same overall width, depth, and height adjustment range. Your choice therefore depends mainly on your storage needs and preferred base layout. Compare the space beneath each version with your chair and how you like to position your legs.

How much weight can the desk support?

The Aurelia supports up to 220 lbs. Add together the weight of your monitors, computer, monitor stands, and other desktop items when planning your setup. Weight capacity and available surface space are separate considerations, so also check that your equipment fits comfortably while leaving room for your keyboard, mouse, and everyday work.

Does the desk include cable management?

Yes. Both Standard and Pro with Storage include concealed cable management beneath the desktop to help organize cords and keep them out of sight. When arranging your setup, leave enough cable slack for the desk to reach its highest position. Check connections throughout the height range so cables do not pull tight as the desktop rises.

How much space do I need for the Aurelia desk?

Both configurations have an overall desk width of 59 7/16 inches and depth of 29 1/8 inches. Use these dimensions when planning your room layout, then allow additional space for your chair and movement around the desk. If you plan to add shelves or other furniture nearby, check clearance throughout the full height adjustment range.

Does the Aurelia have an anti-collision feature?

Yes. The Aurelia has an anti-collision function that automatically reverses the desk when it detects an obstacle during height adjustment. Keep the area above and below the desktop clear before moving it, especially around shelves, cabinets, and chair arms. Check your workspace layout regularly, since nearby items may move between adjustments.
