I’ve been hanging out in this corner a lot lately. Sometimes I’ll bring my coffee and read for a bit, and other times I just sit back and enjoy the sun coming through the window.

It’s nice being able to kick my feet up and relax for a while. I wasn’t sure if the black would look too dark in this space, but I actually love how it looks with the wood and the plants.

Worth it!

I ordered this desk because it had the best design and character for a standing desk. Yes, it is a little bit more expensive than some others, but it is worth the additional cost, considering you get the standing functionality plus character and design of a desk for your home office. I’ll start with the delivery, as you can see in the photo, this desk came in a heavily protected wooden crate to avoid damage. It came in two boxes, one was in a wooden protective case, and the other came separately. Both packages came same day but a few hours apart. Assuming they used a separate company for the larger protected box and the smaller box came via FedEx. When I opened both boxes, all the pieces were heavily wrapped and surrounded by foam. The main desk component with drawers was already fully assembled so the only assembly required was the legs. This took me and my wife about an hour to build. Most of our time was around wire management. The instructions could have been better if there were more words, but the photos were good enough for us to understand and complete. I do like that they gave you two instruction books, so both me and my wife could easily read without having to pass the paper back-and-forth. The functionality works very smooth and is quiet. The desk is sturdy, even at the highest setting. I do like to rest my arms and lean a little bit on the desk, and I noticed there was zero wobble, and very sturdy at highest setting. I’ve had this desk for a few days and so far it has been great. I was originally hesitant ordering this desk because it was expensive and came from a company I wasn’t familiar with, but as a typical customer, I will say that I am extremely satisfied with the delivery and desk. The desk was delivered in 6 business days from my order date. I’ll update this post if anything changes but so far, I am pleased with this purchase!

Everything needed for assembly was included in the box, which is crucial (and unfortunately not always the case!). The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The desk turned out exactly as I’d hoped and works perfectly. As a database programmer working from home, I bought it to avoid sitting for long stretches, and now I can stand for part of the day. I absolutely love it.

I found Eureka Ergonomic on Instagram after searching the web for a good looking desk. The ARKL60 more than fits the bill! Its really solid, traverses really well and has great finishes all around. It comes packed well, I don't think shippers could damage it if they tried. It did take some time to assemble but it was well worth it. The slate top makes this a great piece than even my wife approved of!!

I switch between sitting and standing at least five times a day, and it’s always smooth and quiet. No need to move anything, everything stays in place. It’s definitely one of the best adjustable desks I’ve used

After ordering this Serene Napa Leather Exec. Chair, it arrived less than a week. I assembled it myself. Let me tell you, this is no office supply store chair. I did install my own rubber wheels. But this chair is high quality, sturdy, and really nice looking. Everything works fine. Very comfy. Only issue, not really an issue, but the seat is rather firm, but as time goes by, it is molding to my butt! I'm so glad i bought this.

I’ve been upgrading my home office piece by piece, and the last major item was the chair. I have a Secretlab Magnus Pro desk, which I love, but I needed a chair that could match its quality and aesthetic without being another typical "gamer" chair. This chair is IT.

Let's be real, I love my Secretlab desk, but the racing-style chair look isn't for me. I wanted something more understated and professional for my workday, but that was still comfortable enough for long gaming sessions at night. This chair strikes that balance perfectly. The matte black finish and chrome base are a killer combo and look like they were made to go with the Magnus desk.

Build quality is top-notch. It feels heavy, solid, and premium right out of the box. Assembly was straightforward, no issues there.
