A Little Upgrade to My Daily Routine

My old desk was fine, but after a while I got tired of being stuck in the same position all day. I wanted something I could use sitting down in the morning and raise when I needed a break. That's probably what I appreciate most about this desk — it's easy to adjust without having to stop what I'm doing.

I keep my laptop, monitor, coffee, and a bunch of random things on the desktop, and there's still enough room to work comfortably. I was also pleasantly surprised by how nice it looks once it was in the room. The oak color feels right with my other furniture, so I didn't have to rearrange everything around it. I've added a walking pad underneath as well, and now I can take a slow walk during less busy parts of the day. It's become a pretty natural part of my routine.

My Back Needed This

Since I started working from home full-time, I realized just how much of the day I spend sitting. I finally decided to try a standing desk, and so far, I'm really enjoying it. I don't stand all day or anything, but it's nice to change positions when I start feeling stiff. I can switch to a different height with a button, which is super convenient when I'm in the middle of work. 

One thing I really like is how steady it feels when going up and down. There's barely any wobble, and it's really quiet, too. I'd read reviews of other standing desks where people said their desks would shake as they went up or make all these clunking noises. I was worried it would wobble all over the place or make a bunch of noise when going up and down, but thankfully, it doesn't.

Not Your Typical Office Desk

Honestly, I bought this desk because I thought it looked really nice. The warm oak color is even prettier in person, and I love the little details on the legs. I ended up getting the matching file cabinet, too, and they look so good together. Having both pieces makes my workspace feel a lot more put together. There's also plenty of room on the desk for my monitor, laptop, and a few other things I like to keep nearby.

I've had it for a while now, and I've been using the standing feature more than I expected. Usually, I'll raise it in the afternoon when I've been sitting for too long. The desk moves pretty quietly, too, which I appreciate when I'm on a call. I'm glad I went with this set. It looks great, and I actually use the features instead of forgetting they're there.

Looks Even Better With My Setup

I added my monitor and a desk lamp, and honestly, the whole setup looks really good together. The warm wood finish makes the space feel cozy, and the desk has enough room for everything without looking cluttered. I might add a small plant or something later, but for now, I don't think I need to do much else. It already feels like a nice little workspace, and I'm happy with how it turned out.

It Looks Right at Home

We recently redid our living room, and this desk ended up being one of my favorite additions. I was worried a work desk would look out of place, but it actually goes really well with everything. I love how the oak looks in the afternoon light, too. My work setup is finally in one spot instead of being spread across the dining table. 

Finally Found One I Really Like

I spent way too much time looking at desks before settling on this one, but I'm glad I did! The color is beautiful in person, and the surface feels really nice. Putting it together wasn't nearly as bad as I expected since I could follow the video. It also goes up and down quietly. My cat sleeps next to my desk all the time and barely even reacts when I adjust the height. Little things like that make me appreciate it even more.

I Keep Admiring My New Desk

I can't stop admiring my new desk! The oak color has a really warm, natural look, and it goes so well with the white bookshelf in my home. They almost look like they came as a set. The entire desktop has this really fine wood grain, and the craftsmanship is excellent. It just looks and feels really nice.

Since getting this desk, I've been getting up to stand and move around more during my afternoon work sessions. I'm also thinking about getting an under-desk walking pad to use with it, after seeing some recommendations on YouTube.

I'm not very handy, so putting the desk together after receiving three big boxes took me quite a while. But once I got past the assembly, everything has been really easy to use. I'm very happy with this purchase!

A Much Better Way to Work

I've had a regular desk at home for years, and never really thought much about replacing it. But after a recent doctor's visit, I was told I should try to move around more throughout the day instead of sitting for hours at a time. That got me looking into standing desks, and I decided to give the Aurelia a try.

I've been using it for my everyday work, and so far, it's been great. Switching between sitting and standing is really easy, and the desk moves up and down smoothly without shaking all over the place. I usually have a cup of coffee sitting on the desk, and it barely moves when I adjust the height. I was a little worried about noise, especially since I'm often on work calls, but it's surprisingly quiet. Nobody on my meetings has ever had a reason to ask what that noise was!

I also appreciate that it looks more like a piece of home furniture than the typical standing desk. The warm wood finish looks nice in my space, so I don't feel like I've turned part of my home into a corporate office just to make my work setup more practical.

It's been an easy adjustment, and I'm glad I made the switch. I'm still getting used to remembering to stand up throughout the day, but at least now it's much easier to do.

Very Happy With It

I used to work from pretty much anywhere in my house. Sometimes it was the dining table, sometimes the couch, and somehow my laptop, notebooks, and other work stuff always ended up scattered everywhere. It got annoying trying to keep track of everything, so I decided it was time to get an actual desk.

I came across the Aurelia and honestly, its looks were what sold me. It doesn't look like a typical office desk at all. I love the warm wood color, and the detail on the legs gives it so much character without making it look too fancy or over the top. I liked it so much that I ordered it pretty much right away.

I followed the assembly instructions, got everything put together, and set it up in a corner of my living room. It's funny how much of a difference having a dedicated workspace makes. The desk doesn't stick out or make the room feel like an office, but now I have my own spot where I can actually sit down and get things done. The warm wood tone also makes the whole space feel a little cozier.

The materials and hardware feel really nice, too. Nothing about it feels cheap, and I was happy with the quality once I had it all assembled. I can see myself using this desk for a long time. Now I just need to get better at putting my work stuff away when I'm done for the day!
