Spending more than $500 on an office chair felt like a splurge, but I’m thrilled with the decision. The craftsmanship is on another level compared to any budget chair I’ve owned—every detail, from the smooth leather stitching to the sturdy tilt mechanism, shows real quality.

I spend long hours editing videos, and my back and shoulders have never felt better. The seat is roomy enough that I can sit cross-legged, and my cat often hops up to join me, which makes it even cozier.

Great chair, just watch the upkeep

I've worked from home for a few years and my office is the old attic — sloped ceiling, one window, not much room to work with. I'd been making do with a cheap task chair from a big-box store, and it looked like it. I wanted something that didn't scream "office" the second you came up the stairs.

I went with the beige grey, which felt like a gamble ordering a chair online. In person it's softer than the photos — more of a warm stone than grey — and it doesn't stand out against the wood the way a dark chair would.

It showed up earlier than the date I'd been given and the packing was solid — everything wrapped separately, foam on the corners. My husband had a job getting it up two flights of stairs, and considering how big the box was, I was surprised it came out without a single scratch.

For actual work it's been fine. I write in the mornings and take calls in the afternoons, and being able to lean back and rest my head between things genuinely helps by around 4pm. The seat is on the firm side — I was very aware of it that first week, and now I think it's part of why my back doesn't complain the way it used to. The tilt locks in three positions, which I didn't expect to use and now use every day.

The one thing I'd flag is the colour. It picks up dust and handprints more than I expected, and I've already wiped a coffee ring off one armrest. I emailed customer service to ask how to clean it and they answered the same day — a damp cloth, nothing special. Worth knowing before you order. No regrets.

So Comfy

I'm at this desk close to eight hours a day, so comfort matters more to me than looks — though it happens to look good in my office anyway. Six months in, the change I notice most is that my lower back no longer aches by the end of the day the way it did with my old chair. When one caster started squeaking, I emailed customer service on a Tuesday and had a replacement set by the end of the week — no back-and-forth, no asking for photos. The high back and headrest give me somewhere to rest my head when I'm thinking, and the seat is firm without being hard. The armrests are fixed, which is the one trade-off.

Easy to Put Together, Built to Last

I usually dread assembling furniture, but this chair was a breeze—the instructions were clear, and once it was put together it felt rock solid. I’ve owned plenty of budget chairs that start squeaking or sagging within a year, but after six months this one still looks and feels brand new.
Since I use it every day, I wanted something that’s both inviting and comfortable. This design nails it—stylish enough to blend with my guest room décor while staying incredibly comfy.

It is a great chair. It is well built and comfortable. My only complaint is I was expecting a white chair, but it is a light grey color.
