I bought this chair for my home office because I wanted something that would actually make me enjoy being in the space. And honestly, it does just that—it instantly elevates the whole vibe of my workspace. Sitting down every morning doesn’t feel like “going to work” anymore; it feels like a little luxury. It’s amazing how much of a difference a well-designed, comfortable chair can make.

I’ll admit, I was nervous about ordering such a pricey chair online, but the delivery went flawlessly. The packaging felt high-end, everything arrived in perfect condition, and setup was completely hassle-free.

I finally found my DREAM mid-century style rolling desk chair!

This is the Mathias Napa Leather Executive Office Chair from Eureka Ergonomic, and I think we can all agree (if you’re familiar with my interiors style) that this chair was pretty much made for me. The mid-century inspired shape and design are the perfect fit for our 1960s ranch. It looks like a desk chair, but it also looks like any of the other types of Eames-like seating that we have scattered throughout our home.

The head support, in particular, is a favorite feature of mine. I’ve never had a desk chair that supports my head and shoulders like this, and the impact that it has on my comfort level while working at my computer is enormous. I also adore the buttery soft feel of the leather. I’ve been hyper vigilant not to let our cats up on the chair so that I can keep the leather as pristine as it looked straight out of the box when it was delivered. So far, so good. It was also really easy to assemble, by the way!

Solid choice for a desk chair

I searched for months for a chair that was ergonomic as well as attractive, had good reviews, AND I needed a chair whose seat height could go up to 23-24”, which none do. (except drafting chairs). I worked a long time with the customer service dept. (Armand, you’re the best), figuring out which chair was best for my needs. I liked that this chair had silicone leather, which, while not real leather, is a much higher quality material that won’t crack and peel as quickly (or at all) as regular PU.

Back to the seat height issue. Armand ran my issue through the technical department, who located a pneumatic lift I could use in place of the one meant for the chair, and gain the extra seat height needed. IT WORKED.

My husband is so happy with this chair, comfortable, classy and adjusts to his needed height. Thanks for all the help, we love this purchase. If it wasn’t for the excellent customer service, I’d have moved on and still be looking for a chair!
